It's an abomination and it's got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read. Gay Lutheran Clergy. I don't see how people can call themselves as Sons of God and still allow their church leadership to do something this vile. God desires that no one perish, whether gay, drunk, liar, etc. We've all come short of the Glory of God. I know I would not want to be at the Judgment Seat with this one of my head. God have mercy on them. This if nothing else show the need for Christ obeying men and women to lea, not factions in the church that allow such sin to thrive. Was no one reading their Bible and keeping these people accountable?

(28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
This grieves my soul.

That is sad, but not really a suprise. There are a lot of internal dynamics within the Lutheran denomination and the good news is that all is not lost. There are actually different Lutheran churches (synods). Oddly enough, the one wearing the 'evangelical' moniker is the liberal one. The Missouri Synod is actually the conservative, more or less Bible believing one. But even within that, there is division. It is happening everywhere. A great falling away...
All is not lost? I would venture a guess that most of them are though. That is, I admit, based on my experience with a single Lutheran back in my college days but this individual was adamant that her salvation was a result of her works and she even backed it up with literature from her church which though far from Catholicism, was also far from Eph 2:8.
