Music group I'm digging..

On: Monday, May 12, 2008

I found a 4gb Video iPod about 75 days ago. Our work policy is after 60 days it's mine. And it is! Suh-weet! I found about 30 hours of music on it including the group 30 Seconds to Mars. Here is a video of their song "The Kill". I've never heard them before and don't know much about them yet but they will be a blast to ride to!

PS: In order to convert/listen to the iPod on my pc's I had to download a pretty sweet free ware program called Media Monkey.

Cool song. I like that clean sound... sort of reminiscent of a Lincoln Park minus the rapping.

The singer wears too much eye make-up though. It makes him look cheap.

I agree. The music sound "serious" to me. Maybe it's the quality or the way it was recorded. I dunno. I'm a music luser. He does wear too much make up. Apparently he is an actor. Whatever. I'm just happy I have a new iPod. Oh yeah, it has all of Led Zep's music on it! Score!

Hook me up with the Led Zepplin stuff!

And about my bike seat and offspring... When it comes to criticism, I consider the source. When someone who's blog was rejected by society makes some critical comments, well, it's just hard to take seriously.

First you ask, then you diss. I;m not sure you understand the process...

And I wasn't rejected by society; Blogger questioned by blog's authenticity due to it's awesomeness. I guess we should be "lucky" it didn't delete yours due to inactivity...

Ahhhh, I love Zep.

Seriously though LZ II is probably my favorite because it catches the band at a kind of raw stage, where they started to really get creative (at least more than the blue jams of LZ I) but still had a wild, energetic edge to em. I highly recommend that two disc dvd that came out about 5 years ago...has some really awesome 1970 concert footage.

I'm a big fan of John Paul Jones...the most underrated and ignored member of Led Zeppelin, but listen to him on, say, The Lemon Song, or Ramble On, and he's got that sort of subtle groove thing going...soft muted tones, but funky grooves, just like James Jamerson.
